Outline
The Faculty of Business Administration prepares individuals who consider ways to improve business administration while absorbing in real time what is going on now in Japan and the world.Feature 1: Unique Existence
The Faculty of Business Administration is a comparatively new faculty that separated from the Faculty of Economics and was established as an independent faculty in 1967. There are only two national universities in Japan that have a Faculty of Business Administration: YNU and Kobe University. It is a faculty that well demonstrates the special characteristics of YNU, whose motto is a “practical learning approach”.
Feature 2: Rich Internationality
The Faculty of Business Administration has welcomed 53 students from 14 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, Central America, and Australia. Japanese students and students from various countries studying side by side in the same classroom is a scene that is taken for granted here.
Moreover, YNU has concluded exchange agreements with numerous overseas universities, enabling credit transfer. This allows students to study abroad without needing to delay their graduation, and so another feature of the Faculty of Business Administration is that many students experience study abroad.
